Daily health supplements are the morning B-vitamin capsule and the mealtime culture-and-fibre habit — declared amounts, ordinary meals, no invented medical promises.
“Tea began as a medicine and grew into a beverage.”

Daily health supplements are the capsules people actually finish: a morning B-vitamin routine, or a mealtime culture-and-fibre capsule, or both. The interesting science sits in authorised B-vitamin roles, published caffeine–L-theanine attention studies, and honest silence where EU law has no claim for bacterial blends.
Here you will find KLAR / DAILY, BALANS / DAILY, and The DAILY DUO that pairs them — declared amounts, EU manufacture, no invented medical promises.
People searching for daily health supplements, B-vitamin capsules, caffeine L-theanine, or daily probiotic fibre are rarely looking for a manifesto. They want a clear morning or mealtime habit. Two product ideas dominate this shelf: a B-vitamin capsule that may also declare caffeine and L-theanine (KLAR / DAILY), and a culture-plus-fibre capsule for use with food (BALANS / DAILY). Together they are The DAILY DUO.
Under EU food-claim law, thiamin (B1), vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 may bear claims that they contribute to normal psychological function and normal energy-yielding metabolism when the food is at least a source of the vitamin. B6 and B12 may also claim contribution to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Those conclusions come from EFSA NDA opinions later reflected in Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 and the EU Register.1,2,3
That framework is compositional and physiological — it does not authorise disease claims, “brain hacking,” or guarantees of mood change.
Tea naturally pairs caffeine with the amino acid L-theanine. Cognitive scientists have tested the combination in healthy adults:
Those papers describe laboratory outcomes at stated doses. They are not interchangeable with every supplement portion. In the EU, certain caffeine alertness claims require defined milligram thresholds per portion; products below those thresholds may still list caffeine without using those claim phrases.
Short-chain fructo-oligosaccharides (scFOS) have been studied for their effect on fecal bifidobacteria. Bouhnik et al. (2007) reported that 8 g/day scFOS for four weeks increased fecal bifidobacteria in healthy elderly volunteers (Nutrition Journal).6
Food-supplement capsules often use far smaller fibre amounts alongside named bacterial species — as in BALANS / DAILY. At those labelled amounts there is typically no EU-authorised health claim for the combination. The accurate consumer message is compositional: which species, how many milligrams, what fibre, what capsule type.
KLAR / DAILY is the B-vitamin morning capsule (with caffeine and L-theanine declared). BALANS / DAILY is the mealtime culture-and-fibre capsule. The DAILY DUO is both.
Combination trials report task and mood differences versus caffeine alone at specific doses; results vary by design. They do not create an authorised EU “calm focus” claim by themselves.4,5
Modern definitions emphasise live microbes that confer a benefit when administered in adequate amounts. Fuller’s 1989 review popularised an earlier feed-supplement definition; today’s EU labelling still requires authorised claims or careful non-claim wording for each formula.7
