Extraction & Fermentation

Extraction concentrates selected compounds from a raw material. Standardisation specifies the amount of particular compounds in the resulting ingredient.
Fermentation uses microorganisms to transform the starting material. Our developing LingonBalance range explores this approach for lingonberry-based oral and intimate care.
The preparation method matters: a berry extract and a fermented preparation are distinct ingredients, each requiring its own characterisation and evidence.
