How Testing Works
Ordering, sampling, biomarker panels, results and follow-up — explained simply.
We know that getting started with biomarker testing can feel a bit unfamiliar.
That’s why we have made the process as straightforward as possible. Below you will find a clear step-by-step overview of how testing works at High Coast Health Shop.
The overall process
Testing with us is designed to be simple, safe and convenient. The typical flow is:
- You order a test panel online
- You receive a sampling kit at home
- You collect the sample (usually a small finger-prick blood sample)
- You send the sample back to the laboratory
- You receive your results digitally
- You can book a follow-up consultation if you want support interpreting the results
Step 1: Ordering
Browse the available biomarker panels on our site. Each panel is clearly described with the markers it includes and why they matter.
You can choose a single panel or combine several if you want a broader picture. Once you order, we prepare your sampling kit and send it to your registered address.
Step 2: Sampling
The sampling kit contains everything you need. Most of our tests use a simple finger-prick method — no need to visit a clinic.
We provide clear instructions, and the process usually takes only a few minutes. If you prefer, many people ask a partner or family member to help with the sample.
Step 3: Sending the sample
Once collected, you place the sample in the prepaid return envelope and drop it off at a postbox. The laboratory receives it within a few days.
Step 4: Receiving your results
When the results are ready (usually within a couple of days or depending on biomarker in the order, 7–14 days), you will receive a secure digital report. The report includes:
- Your personal values
- Reference ranges
- Simple explanations of what each marker means
- Suggestions for follow-up where relevant
Step 5: Follow-up and support
If you want help understanding your results or connecting them to product choices, you can book a short consultation with one of our health advisors. We also offer the possibility to re-test after a period of time to see how things have changed.
Our promise
We aim to make the entire testing process simple, safe and supportive. You will never feel pressured to test more than you need, and we are always available to answer questions along the way.
