Skincare you can trust starts long before a product reaches your shelf. Our skincare range is developed and produced together with a carefully selected European manufacturing partner. The four badges below summarise the standards behind it, and this page explains exactly what each one means and what it covers.
Made by a Certified B Corporation manufacturer
Our skincare is produced by a manufacturing partner that is verified as a Certified B Corporation. B Corp certification assesses a company’s social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability across its whole operation.
The certification belongs to our manufacturing partner as a company. High Coast Health Shop itself is not a certified B Corporation.
COSMOS Natural formulas
The formulas from our manufacturing partner are made to the COSMOS Natural standard by ECOCERT, with at least 95% ingredients of natural origin and strict rules for how ingredients are processed.
Certification is granted formula by formula, so it applies where it is stated on the individual product page. If a product page does not mention COSMOS Natural, this badge does not cover that product.
ISO 22716 GMP production
Our products are made in a facility that follows ISO 22716, the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in cosmetics. It covers raw-material handling, hygiene, production, quality control, storage and traceability.
Every batch is produced under controlled, audited conditions and can be traced back to its production batch.
EU & UK compliant
Every product is notified on the EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP) before it is sold, as required by the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. Each product has a designated Responsible Person in the EU and a Product Information File (PIF) that includes a safety assessment.
Our products also meet the corresponding UK cosmetics requirements. For the US market, our manufacturing partner is also registered with the FDA.
The badges are High Coast Health Shop’s own designs. They summarise standards held by our manufacturing partner and are not third-party certification marks. Product-specific details are always stated on each product page. Questions? Contact us.
