Why quality and standardisation matter
Not all extracts are the same. Two products can both say they contain “bilberry extract” or “lingonberry”, but differ significantly in the amount and quality of active compounds they actually deliver.
Standardisation helps ensure consistency. When an extract is standardised, you know that each batch contains a reliable level of the key active compounds. This makes it easier to understand what you are getting and to experience consistent results over time.
How we work with extracts and active compounds
We focus on extracts that are:
- Standardised to relevant active compounds (for example anthocyanins in bilberry or polyphenols in lingonberry)
- Produced with documented levels of these compounds
- Chosen for good bioavailability and stability where possible
On our ingredient and product pages we clearly state the extract type and the level of standardisation when it is relevant. This helps you make informed choices.
Sourcing principles
We prioritise ingredients from the Nordic region when they offer clear advantages in quality or compound profile. At the same time, we choose the best available source for each ingredient based on:

We work with suppliers who meet high standards and we regularly review both quality and documentation.
